Pilates Reformer
Reformer pilates
The Pilates Reformer is a traditional piece of apparatus that contains springs, a sliding carriage, a foot bar, leather straps, and wooden handles. The Pilates Reformer looks a lot like a bed, with its set up of equipment. This piece of apparatus helps to create internal pressure to elongate the spine, joints, and muscles which leads to improved flexibility, strength, and stamina. It’s far from a normal, core workout, improving various parts of your body, as a more dynamic & targeted workout.
The main piece of the Pilates Reformer apparatus is the springs, as it’s the several springs that provide the resistance while working out. It enables you to create pressure while working out and working on your entire body. Using the Reformer is particularly effective for those returning from injury and those who are wanting to work on precise, specific movements within their workout. This is due to how the machine is laid out and how the various elements provide the correct resistance and testing in each area of your body.
